Got some nice play structures. A small rink for 3 on 3 hockey. Indoor wheels recommended. Also a basketball court. Nice running path and place for volleyball I think.
Nice quit park hard to find located behind a church
I go to Imus park to eat my lunch and walk. It is a small park with trees, a trail to walk and a playground for children. Very peaceful and quiet.
Used most between Wed 6-9 pm and Sat morn 9-12, 3 to 6pm
A Veteran of the Navy, Leroy Imus became a Sterling Heights Police Officer on September 12, 1966. He was a devoted family man and well liked by his co-workers. Officer Imus was killed in the line of duty by a hit and run driver on the M-53 expressway north of 18 Mile Road during a traffic stop after 1:00 a.m. on December 2, 1971.
Imus Park was named after and dedicated to the memory of Leroy Imus. The park is on Dodge Park Road just north of 16 Mile Road.
