GEORGE WASHINGTON

  • Born on February 22, 1732, Westmoreland County, Virginia, VA. Died on December 14, 1799, Mount Vernon, VA.
  • President Washington led the Continental Army to victory over the British.
  • In 1794, Washington signed the Naval Act, establishing the US Navy.
  • Washington established the USA federal judiciary.

ABRAHAM LINCOLN

  • Born on February 12, 1809, Hodgenville, KY. Died on April 15, 1865, Washington D.C.
  • President Lincoln signed the first of the Homestead Acts, allowing the poor to have land.
  • Lincoln signed the Morrill Land Grant Act which led to the creations of many universities.
  • He established the US National Banking System.

BARACK OBAMA

  • Born on August 4, 1961, Honolulu, HI.
  • President Obama ended the war in Iraq, last troops left on December 18, 2011.
  • Obama eliminated Osama Bin Laden in 2011.
  • In 2009, he turned the U.S Auto Industry around.

JOHN F. KENEDY

  • Born on May 29, 1917, Brookline, MA. Died on November, 22, 1963, Dallas, Texas.
  • President Kennedy prevented Nuclear Armageddon.

THEODORE ROOSEVELT

  • Born on October, 27, 1858, Manhattan. Died on January, 16, 1919, Cove Neck, NY.
  • President Roosevelt passed the Meat Inspection Act and Pure Food and Drug Act.
  • Roosevelt negotiated an end to the Russo Japanese War, which he won a Noble Prize.
  • He placed millions of a read of land under federal protection to preserve American's natural resources.
