BRIEF ON GHENGHIS

• Born 1165 as Temujin
• When he was 10 his Father died, he became chief.
• Three years later, he began to form his army.
• In 1179, Temujin married a woman named Bortei.
• Died in 1227, after fatal injury in 1226

HOW THE MONGOLS LIVED

• Horses were used as food and transportation.
• Young mongols learned to shoot with a bow from any angle on a horse, without falling off.
