Activity:
Take a few minutes to look over the proficiency scales. Choose 2 highlighter colors: Using one color, highlight all outcomes and sample tasks that you already do or use in your lessons. Choose another color and highlight the outcomes / sample tasks that you plan to intentionally add (or incorporate more) into your instructional practice.

Grant Wiggins once said, “The big-idea questions signal that education is not just about learning the answer, but about learning how to learn.”

Collaborate with us! Carrots:

  • Grading: Evaluation forms, research quality, bibliographies, in-text citations
  • Help designing projects and activities (including authentic PBL units / lessons)
  • Co-teaching opportunities
  • One-on-one research help for students (and teachers!)
  • Research Tool Box and lessons to reinforce information literacy skills
