CHILDHOOD

  • Born in Venice Italy
  • He studied music as a childhood with his dad
  • He was a child of six and he was the oldest

STUDYING

  • He studied music but at 15 he decided to be a priest
  • He studied priesthood for 10 years
  • He studied baroque music

PRIEST

  • He was called The Red Priest because he had red hair
  • He was a priest so he couldn’t have a girlfriend or get married
  • He was a priest for 18 months

WHY HE IS NAMED THE RED PRIEST

  • When he was ordained he was soon nicknamed il Prete Rosso. Rosso in Italian means red and referred to the color of his hair

HEALTH

  • He had asthma which made him dizzy and weak when he spoke
  • He died from a mysterious inflammation
