Who: This is one of the captains of the shipping boats. He helped out with this stage in the life of a t-shirt by taking it to the places it needs to be.
This guy is important to this stage of the journey of the t-shirt because he helps out with transporting it all and getting it to the place it needs to be. Without him it would be very hard to complete the project.
Where: These are the countries that the shirts are made and the containers are being shipped from and too. Bangladesh, Columbia and the U.S
This photo is important at this stage to the journey of a t-shirt because it is where the factories are, where all the people are working, and to show where they are coming and going with all of the shipping that happens.
What: These containers are transported by ships, trucks, and trains. They have many boxes in them and travel from different destinations.

When: Containers came on the scene in the 1960s and they made shipping that used to be a huge pain much more efficient. When a ship leaves Columbia it usually arrives in Miami a week later.

Why: They transport t-shirts so they can get them to the correct places so that they can sell them. They have to get transported a few different ways so they can make it to the places they actually want them.
This photo is an important stage in the life of a tshirt journey because you want to be able to have the shirts and you can’t have the t-shirts if they aren't in the places you need them to be.
How: People package the t-shirts up in boxes and then take all of those boxes and put them into a large container that takes them to the U.S.
