  • Rhea has a pretty simple birth story. Her mother, Mother Earth, gave birth to her.

RHEA’S SIBLINGS

  • Her sisters were the Titanesses.
  • Her brothers were the original Titans.

RHEA’S CHILDREN

  • Rhea had six children.
  • Five of her children were eaten by her husband Cronus.

THE STORY OF ZEUS

  • Before the sixth baby was born, Rhea asked Mother Earth to take the child to protect him from Cronus.
  • That baby happened to be Zeus.
