Kourou RIVER

  • The university is located in Cayenne, French Guiana

MUSEO DEPARTAMENTAL ALEXANDRE-FRANCONIE

  • Museo departamental Alexandre-Franconie was created on September 18th 1901.
  • The museum includes some of the natural and historic history of French Guiana
  • The stuff there have been there for about 110 years

French Guiana is divided into four regions Cayenne, Kourou, Saint-Laurent-du-Maroni, and Saint-Georges.

The Arawak Indians and Carib were early inhabitants of French Guiana. Christopher Columbus spotted French Guiana in 1498. The first French settlers were in the seventeenth century.
