PRESENTATION OUTLINE

Imagine for a second that you were one of these children.

You are living in Ethiopia, a poverty stricken, 3rd World Country. Around 94.7% of the population earns less than $2 a day.

You wake up in the morning in your tiny 1 room hut. You eat what little food your family can afford. You then proceed out the front door and walk miles to get to school wearing your extremely worn out shoes or no shoes at all.

But wait what if your family couldn’t afford to send you to school, your parents only make $2 a day?

ONLY 13% OF CHILDREN GET THE CHANCE TO ATTEND SECONDARY SCHOOL

That means out of the 890 students at Mullen only 116 of us would receive schooling after 5th grade.

Children not in school are forced to go work.

The lucky are tasked with manual labor or selling goods at local markets.

However, some aren’t so lucky...

Each year around 20,000 children, some as young as the age of 8, are sold by their parents into slave work, prostitution, and drug trafficking.

What if that was you? Your brother? Your sister? Your childhood best friend?

You can help! You can make a difference!

Donate to mission! All the money raised pays for scholarships to send these innocent children to school.

If every student at Mullen brought in $2, we could send 30 kids to school for a whole entire year.

All photos were taken at our sister school in Ethiopia. These are actual students you can help, right now.
