JEHOVHAS WITNESS

• Going out in field service
• Celebrating the Passover
• Do not celebrate any holidays
• Have meetings three times a week at a Kingdom Hall (Church)
• We have pioneers and special pioneers that dedicate 75 and150 hours a month in the field ministry

ENGLISH

• Mostly Protestants
• Still have many colonies across the world
• Big celebrators of holidays
• Speak English but pronounce words differently
• Have different moral values then Americans
• The people are always much more formal
• Enjoy football (soccer), cricket, and rugby

CONFLICT BETWEEN IDENTITY

• Being a Jehovah's Witness limits the amount of things you can do
• English really enjoy celebrating holidays where as JWs do t celebrate at all
• Some things that you do as a JW conflict with almost everything in your life
• Carving out 2 hours three times a week to go to meetings conflict with things that you would do if you where English

COMBINING IDENITIES TO MAKE YOU

• Being English and being a JW maybe difficult at times but these Identities make my identity
• Having a parent that is a JW and both being English brings together the identities
• This allows me to form an identity that is not one or the other but combines both to form one individual
