Camerawork

• Long take- The whole opening sequence is done in one take
• to emphasise how large the universe is and how large the war is
• Establishing shot- Earth to show what planet the war is set on
• Extreme close up- of the comet whilst it travels past the camera

Editing

• Special Effects- The comet turns into the title

• The square comet- to show what everyone is after and 
• let the audience know what is causing the violence
