• Cushion seats- three or more pennies
• Lords rooms -six pence

EATING & DRINKING

Groundling were standing closest to the stage, the rich surrounded the sides & the more rich paid for better view in the higher gallery. The richest of all got the lords room closest to the stage (private)

HIS PLAYS WERE VERY LONG AND HAD BREAKS IN BETWEEN THE PLAYS, ALLOWED TO TALK , GET UP FOR FOOD & IT HAD OPEN AIR AND NATURAL LIGHTING

THE GROUNDLINGS WERE CLOSEST TO THE STAGE & THEY WERE STANDING, DURING THE PERFORMANCE THEY COULD GET DRINKS BUT THERE WAS NO TOILETS

Today the audience can choose television, movies, or stage shows. For television watching at home you don't have to dress up or reserve seats.
