2.
GRAVITY AND ACCELERATION
Objects fall to the ground at the same rate-regardless of mass.
Acceleration due to gravity depends on force and mass.

3.
ACCELERATION AND VELOCITY
Acceleration is the change in velocity over time.
Velocity is a speed in a certain direction.
Unbalanced forces cause objects to accelerate.
Gravity is the downward, unbalanced force that acts on an object on a falling object.
For every second an object falls, its downward velocity increases by 9.8m/sec.

4.
ACCELERATION AND TERMINAL VELOCITY
As the speed of a falling object increases, air resistance increases.
Terminal velocity happens when the downward force of gravity equals the force of air resistance.
Net Force=0

5.
AIR RESISTANCE
Force that opposes gravity.
Acts in opposition to objects falling through the air.
Depends on surface area, size, shape, speed of the object.

6.
FREE FALL AND AIR RESISTANCE
An object is in freefall when the only force acting is gravity.
There can be NO air resistance.

7.
PROJECTILE MOTION
Two movements: force gives horizontal movement, gravity pulls down on it.
These cause the object to go in a curved path.
