  • Pesach: "Paschal Lamb" for sacrifice
  • God "passed over" marked houses
  • Killing of the First Born
  • Begins on the 14th of Nissan (early March or April)

  • Hag ha-Pesah (Used for pastoral purposes)
  • Hag ha-Matsot -Feast of the Unleavened Bread
  • The two names represent the same holiday
