BIRTH
- Elvis Presley was born a twin.
- His twin brother, Jessie Garon Presley, died from still birth.
CHILDHOOD
- At church Elvis was really into the music and preaching.
- As a child Elvis' parents didn't have that much money and always went from house to house.
- Elvis liked to participate in talent shows and he would sing and play his guitar.
- The summer after he graduated from high school he stopped by the Memphis recording studios and that's where his career started.
- The picture in the background is where Elvis was born and spent most of his childhood.
CAREER
- In 1957 Elvis' career came to a pause when he got drafted
- In 1960 Elvis went back home. He had to do something to get back on top because there were new singers.
- Elvis hadn't sang in so long that he got nervous whenever he got a gig.
- This was when he had his famous diamond covered cape suit made.
- After he got his new music and everything else the king was back.
MARAGE
- Elvis met his wife ,Precilla, as a soldier. Her stepfather wouldn't allow them to dateat first. I personally think it was because she was 14 and he was 24
- Precilla left germany to reunite with Elvis and on may 1st, 1967 they got married.
- In 1968, Elvis and Precilla had a baby girl and named her Lisa Marie.
- But something happened. Precilla and Elvis got into fights oftenly. Then one night, it all fell apart, Precilla and Elvis got a divorce.
DEATH
- Even after the divorce elvis was still a drug addict and out of shape from eating to much unhealthy food.
- Playing in concerts were rough. Forgetting words and one time he collapsed on stage and had to go to the hospital.
- When he went home from the hospital he had a few friends over and stayed up all night.
- Elvis woke up early. He tried to play racketball with his friends but it didn't work out so tried to go back to sleep. When he couldn't go to sleep he took some sleeping pills. They didn't work so he took more. Then, tragedy struck. Elvis was found on his toilet, dead.
