Balance for Business objectives:

In collaboration with the Balance for Business initiative launched in Toulouse, the primary function of the project is to promote diversity amongst all levels of the Airbus organization. To succeed, the Committee is devoted to providing channels for Airbus employees that boost the employee/employer experience and to create a working environment that celebrates: excellence, dedication, hard work, creativity, and better understanding amongst peers. We must foster a transparent environment that allows employees the freedom to explore personal and professional growth opportunities and enhance the talents that each individual brings to our organization.

Objectives

o Drive mindset and cultural change;
o Leverage collective intelligence to increase business performance;
o Exchange knowledge & experience through mentoring and sponsoring;
o Support the development of women and minorities into leadership positions;
o Foster diversity;
o Collaborate with Customers & Suppliers on their programs and create new initiatives together;
o Internal employee networking events;
o Provide training to employees on career development topics that involve all business units; and
o Promote Airbus’ initiatives through involvement with professional groups.
