Though he attributed the begging of his deafness to an instance in which he was startled and fell.He enjoyed great success and recognition in his lifetime. It is said that at the premiere of his Ninth, he could not hear the thunderous applause at the end, and he had to be turned around to see the delighted audience reaction.

Beethoven's favorite instrument was the piano but he gave up this due to the fact in his 30s-40s he became deaf. By 1798 he had begun to notice that his hearing was becoming worse and worse. He could still compose he could hear every note and chord he wrote in his minds ear.

Sometime between the births his two younger brothers,Beethoven father began teaching him music with an extraordinary rigor and brutality. That affected him for the rest of his life. Neighbors provided accounts of the small boy weeping while he played. His father beating him for each hesitation or mistake.

(Fur Elise) https://youtu.be/k_UOuSklNL4, In 1810 Beethoven completed Fur Elise meaning (For Elise) although it was not published until 40 years after his death. In 1867, it was discovered by a German music scholar, however Beethoven original manuscript has been lost.

Beethoven was actually baptized he was baptized on the 17 of December 1700, he his one of the most well known, and celebrated composers of all time, has had a strong influence on much of the classical music, but also the modern music era.
