What's the problem?

• Kids within the ages of 12-16 have been smoking e cigarettes. They believe its safer then regular cigarettes. In certain states there are no age restriction on buying e cigarettes. E cigarettes have harmful chemicals in them and can cause respiratory problems.

facts about e-cigs

• E cigarettes are unregulated Tabaco product .
• Studies have found toxic chemicals, including an ingredient used in antifreeze in e-cigarettes.
• E cigarette use among middle and high school users have tripled from 2011 to 2013.

my plan

• brochure to educate the youth about the realistic facts on e-cigs.
• My company and I will set out in small groups and speak to all health classes in the middle of the drug and alcohol abuse discussion. There our design will get displayed. I picked to create brochures because I believe kids in the middle school and high school will be familiar with this idea. Also its fun and creative.

brochure thought

• my brochure will come off as appealing because the shape and also the different colors will catch their attention but once they open it up the truth is revealed this idea comes off as an trick but a lesson aswell.

overall approach

• to inform kids with valid facts and studies on the danger that they are doing to their body by using the e-cigarette and assuming its a safer alternative when is really not.
