Thirteen year old 🏃Jonathan went to war, 🔫he successfully survives, but he has broken everyone's promises.😧

Jonathan hears the bell 🎶🔔calling soldiers to battle. He thinks he is more than ready to go to battle, but he has no idea what he was getting himself into.😳

When Jonathan enters town, the corporal asks if he can handle a gun. He answers yes, but when he has to use a gun longer and heavier than himself, he starts to rethink things.🔫

While on the way to the battle, Jonathan thinks he might not be ready 😕for battle, but it is too late to turn back.
⏪He was exhausted, but forced himself to go on.

They soon encountered the hessians, shots were fired, 🌋♨️and some were fatally wounded.
While the rest of his men retreaded, he was left to fend for himself.🔫

Running from the hessians, he tripped, and fell, crying.
When he stopped, the hessians found him.💂🏻
They surrounded him. The soldiers talking in German🇩🇪 and Jonathan trying to understand 😞what they were saying he started to cry again all scared and telling them not to kill him.

Jonathan was soon surprised, they werent going to kill him. One hessian completely trusted him. He found a little boy😕in a shed with a cow that needed to be milked.🐮🐄🐃

The boy's parents were dead 😲and Jonathan buried the parents out of respect.
He carries the boy away, and soon encounters the rest of the men and the corporal.🚶🏻the
Corporal demands where he was, Jonathan tells everyone his story.

The corporal ordered him and the men to go back to the shed to see the hessians and hopefully kill the hessians over there.🔫
When they reached the 🏡house, they encountered their enemies, words were said, and people were wounded.

The hessians, now dead, lay on the floor.😵😵
The corporal and men decide this battle was a success, and they decide to leave.
Jonathan goes back 🔙home, his family thanking God he was alive.
Thank god he wouldn't go back.
