Summary
Frindle is about a boy named Nick and he takes an ordinary pen. He decided to call it a Frindle. He got everyone in 5th grade at Lincoln Elem. to call a pen a Frindle. Although the teachers, the principal, and the school board didn't like the new word they thought it was a distraction and that it was downright stupid. Ms. Granger or as the students call her "The Lone Granger" thought it was just a horrible word so she made every kid who used the word Frindle instead of the word pen would have to stay after school with her.
