Student Experience (Interning)

• Attend InternShip Boot Camp
• Interview for Internship
• Participate in 4-6 week Internship Placement
• Continue meeting with Mentor
• Complete Exit Interview & Reflection Survey

Local Business Experience (Planning)

• Work with CC Staff to:
• Discuss Career Development in their industry
• Assess what skills the company requires of a CC Fellow
• Understand what the CC Fellow needs from the internship & company
• Collaborate with CC Staff write the Intern's Job Description

Local Business Experience (Internship)

• A qualified, full-time intern for 4-6 weeks
• Ongoing support from CC staff
• Exit interview & Reflection Survey
• Diversity Training Upon Request

Mentor Experience

• Attend Mentor Training
• Get assigned an IC Fellow
• Meet with IC Fellow during OnBoarding and Internship
• Advise IC Fellow on Career Interest/Goals
• Help IC Fellow develop Career Plan
• Review Resume, Cover Letter, Linkedin, etc..

Internship Boot Camp

• Understanding the purpose and function of an internship
• What successful Interns Do and Why?
• Insight from Business Partners
• Social Media in the Work Place
• Skill Assessment

Personal Mission Workshop

• A workshop for CC Fellows
• Fellows develop their Career Goals in alignment with their personal mission
• CC Fellows Leave with:
• Personal Mission Statement
• Vision Board

Empowered communication Workshop

• A workshop for CC Fellows
• Fellows participate in a training that addresses:
• Intra-personal communication
• Interpersonal communication
• Conflict Management
