EUCHARIST APPROPRIATING: THE LIVING SACRAMENT

  • The most common response in the church "Amen."
  • Not every one of us can read the Gospel, say the Homily or sing, but each of us is a member of the Catholic Church
  • Saint John of the Cross once said " If you want love, put love, and you will find love."
  • It is the same with the Eucharist, if you want enthusiasm then give enthusiasm, and you will receive it in return.

FREQUENT COMMUNION (CCC 1388-1389)

  • To keep the Eucharist meaning faithful they required dispositions.
  • You participate and fully believe in The Eucharist and the Blood is truly Jesus, then the closer to Christ you become.
  • The Church recommends that you attend mass every Sunday and receive Eucharist as much as you can.
  • More perfect form in mass, the faithful, after priest's communion, receive Lord's Body from same sacrifice.
  • Make a obligation to receive Eucharist during the Easter holiday.

VIATICUM (CCC 1524-1525)

  • The Church offers those who are about to leave this life the Eucharist as viaticum.
  • The Lord said "He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, I will raise him up at the last day."
  • The Lord the Eucharist is the seed of the eternal life and the power of resurrection.
  • This means whoever receives the body and blood of Christ at mass will be brought up into heaven.
  • "With you on the way"
