R is for Ruthless

The bombers were ruthless when they destroyed the town. A war had been going on for a while.
Nothing was left other than rubble after the bombing.

S is for Scent

The hound sniffed out Montag. Once the hound was given Montag's DNA he was on a hunt to kill him. Montag ends up hiding in a river so the hound cannot smell him.

T is for Trace

When the mechanical hound was chasing Montag he went to Faber's house. Faber didn't want the hound to come to his house so he tried to hide any trace of Montag being there. He also gave Montag some of his oldest and smelliest clothes to try and cover up the smell of Montag.

U is for Undercover

Montag was nearly undercover when being chased. He had a manhunt out for him. The mechanical hound was also after him.

V is for Vicious

There is no mercy in this book. Montag burned Beatty alive. The mechanical hound is also vicious because it killed an innocent man instead of Montag.

W is for Water

Montag was being hunted down by the mechanical hound. He ended up hiding in a river so the hound could not smell him. The water ended up saving his life.

X is for X-Ray

Beatty constantly digs at people. He finds out how someone truly is. Not on the outside, but on the inside.

Y is for Yellow

Montag is like the color yellow. Not many people like him. He has done bad, and people don't like him for that.

Z is for Zombie

People no longer have to think. They have all information handed to them. Mildred is an example of a zombie because she lives for her parlor and pills. That's all she needs.
