Circle
The set of all points in a plane that are the same distance from a given point called the center.
Semi circle
Half a circle. The formula for the area of a semi circle is A=1/2nr2
Circumference
The distance around the circle
Area of circle
A=πr2
The amount of square units in a circle.
Diameter
The distance across a circle through its center.
Radius
The distance from the center of a circle to any point on the circle.
Chord
A line segment that joins two points on the circumference of a circle.
Center of a circle
The point from which all points on circle are the same distance.
Pi
The ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter. Approximations for Pi are 3.14 and 22/7

An equation that show the relationship among certain quantities
