PRESENTATION OUTLINE

NEWTONS LAWS OF MOTION

ALL THREE OF DEM!

#1: An object in motion stays in motion and an object at rest stays at rest unless acted on by an outside force

In my example, Newtons 1st law is displayed by the football staying at rest until my foot (the outside force) acted on the ball, causing it to move.

#2: The amount of mass multiplied by the amount of acceleration is equal to the force.

In my following example, Newtons 2nd law is shown by me pushing a heavy mass (Lillie) on the swing. Since she is heavy there was more force on her which caused her to not swing very far

#3: Every action has an opposite or equal reaction

In my final example, Newtons 3rd law is shown through the down force of the jump on the trampoline which causes an opposite reaction causing me to go back up
