PRESENTATION OUTLINE

CHRISTIAN INCARNATION

Untitled Slide

  • The term, "incarnation," means "to become flesh."
  • Jesus is the incarnation of God
  • It comes from the Latin version of john 1:14, which in English reads the word became flesh and made his dwelling among us

Untitled Slide

  • When we say that Jesus Christ is God we mean that the Son of God took on a fleshy, body form
  • However, when this happened in the womb of Mary, Jesus' mother, He did not stop being God.
  • Jesus was a human being, but unlike us he did not have any sins.

Untitled Slide

  • Jesus was born December 25th. Also known as Christmas
  • Jesus is the second person in the trinity.
  • God is the first person in the Trinity.

Untitled Slide

  • How did Jesus pray to god if he was God?
  • Because of the trinity.
  • He prayed to God as a human.
