How many hours did I study a day? I studied 15 hours. This helped me serve my country.

I was a patriot

  • I wrote the Declaration of Independence.
  • I was a vice president and then the president.
  • I helped this country .

What was I like when I was kid?

  • I grew up on a farm.
  • As a child, I loved books.
  • I studied to become a lawyer at College of William and Mary.
  • I liked learning

I was the third president of the United States.

  • I bot a large piece of land called Louisiana Purchase. It doubled the size of the United States.
  • I ordered the Lewis and Clark Expedition in 1803 to explore the northwest territory.
  • I was the president for 8 years.

I am remembered by people today.

  • They visit my house, called Monticello .
  • I have a Memorial in Washington, D.C., and I am on Mt. Rushmore.
  • I am even on the nickel!

Conclusion

I hope that you know that I served my country. I was the 3rd president. I doubled our land.
