Biographical Information

  • He was born in January 15 1929 Atlanta Georgia and died on April 4 1968 Memphis Tennessee, 39 years old.
  • He lived on Chicago, Montgomery, Atlanta and Pensylvania.
  • His family is Martin Luther King Sr.(Father), Alberta Williams King(Mother), Christine King Farris (Sister), A. D. King (Brother).

His Education

  • Martin Luther King as a kid attended public Schools and when he was 15 years old he went to Morehouse College. When he graduated he entered a Crozer Technological Seminary in Pennsylvania where he won a prestigious fellowship and became Class President. Later he enrolled in a program at Boston University.

Significant events in his life.

  • Martin Luther King was a very smart man and he got into Boston University.
  • In 1967 Martin Luther King and the SCLS went to a program called “Poor People's Campaign”.
  • On the Montgomery Bus Boycott when they arrested Rosa Parks they Chose Martin Luther King as a protest leader.

  • Martin Luther King was part of a protest. In the protest he played a key role in the American civil rights moments. He was part of the protest from mis 1950’s until his death in 1968.

What I think needs to improve

  • I think the work that still needs to be done is the respect. Well, Black people and White people in the present day still have the same rights but there’s lots of people that disrespects them calling them names that I can’t say. Also there’s gangs that vandalize houses and private property, and that’s not good. I think we need to fix on that part.
