FEAR OF THE lORD

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO FEAR GOD

• All the time we hear God is love and God will bless you and he will prosper you . But when do we heard that we have to fear God . I feel like we have picked and chose the bible to only hear things we wanna hear in fact I googled the most popular verses and this is what I found Jeremiah 29:11 11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Doesn't that feel good to hear that he's gonna prosper you? That's what a lot of churches preach about things we wanna hear and there those big churches because everyone wants to hear that stuff but just talk about obedience and they'll disappear. They rarely talk about how God is mighty and he is strong ?

• Let me ask you this have we ever thought that God is someone we need to respect? It's sad that we take him not seriously, we continue to do things in our life that we know is wrong but we don't care.
• God is not to be messed with everyone's day will come when he will discipline us . Personally God has called my attention before and let me tell you that it was the most painful experience in my life, but he does is because he love us so he doesn't want us to loose our soul. He comes just in time.
• The bible says in Hebrew 12.6 For the LORD disciplines those he loves, and he punishes each one he accepts as his child."
• God is our father and just like a parent because he loves us he has to discipline us .
• Having the fear of the Lord is knowing he's watching at all times , he know your thoughts what your gonna do what your gonna say he knows how many hairs are on your head why wouldn't we fear a mighty God like ours.

• God doesn't want you to be scared of him rather fear sinning and doing all those things you know are wrong .
• Haven't you ever asked yourself why some people at church act worst than people in the world? It's all because they have no fear of God they think we'll the people don't know what they did . But that's being a hypocrite the bible says in in James 1:26 If anyone thinks he is religious and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his heart , this persons religion is worthless.
• God sees your heart and if you truly love him you will fear him. God has made it so easy for us he just ask one thing depart from evil
• Fear me and obey my commands to have a good life on earth . So what are you waiting for
• Is there something in your life you need to ask for forgiveness? When you are on your phone or computer do you fear God . When you open your mouth do you fear him. In your thoughts are you thinking dirty things or unpleasant things about the other people . When you are alone are you doing things that God wants you to do? Are your friends a good example? If not I ask you that in the name of Jesus you depart from anything in your life that is taking you away from God .
