Now for persuasive techniques in propaganda
Name Calling-
They will use negative words to get you to turn against something. The opposite is glittering general
Plain Folks Appeal-
they try to show how a product or ideal is great for ordinary people. Opposite is snob appeal

They use tests, stats or info to sound scientific to prove one option is better than another. Usually made up

Uncle sam is one of the most popular forms of propaganda ever. The phrase I want you, is plain folks appeal
An ad campaign pinning McDonald’s against Burger King
Here you can see a form of name calling, it is fairly mild, but they are multi-billion dollar companies
This campaign makes you seem special and only you can stop the spread of Covid, so this is Snob Appeal.
We see propaganda all the time, we just don't know it. Whether its celebrities promoting an item or an anti-bullying poster.
Propaganda is everywhere, so we just have to look out for it.
