THREE PLACES TO VISIT IN PANAMA

The Panama Canal connects the Atlantic and pacific oceans. It is also 48 miles long. France began construction on the canal.

These ruins are the rimansm of the old Panama City. It is now located in the suburbs of the new modern city.The ruins have been a world heritage site since 1997

The area of this lake is 166 square miles. It was formed by damming the Chagres River and its smaller affluents.It is a long artificial lake.

FIVE GEOGRAPHICAL FEATURES OF PANAMA

The lake is a reservoir . Created when the Bayano river was dammed. The lake and river is named after Bayano the leader of the largest slave revolt of 16th century Panama.

The gulf of Panama is next to the Pacific Ocean , is also closeted to the southern point of panama it has a maximum width and depth of 259 kilometers and 220 meters.r

The Gulf of Chiriquí is a part of Panama that encompasses Coiba National Park .there are dozens of islands in this Gulf.

. The Gulf of Chiriquí also includes one of the most famous big game fishing areas, Hannibal Bank, located just l20 miles west of Coiba National Park.

Mosquito Gulf is a gulf on the north coast of Panama, it extends from the Valiente Peninsula in Bocas del Toro, past the north coast of Veraguas to the province of Colón, Panama.

Alajuela Lake is an artificial lake on the Chagres River it was created by the Madden Dam and linked to the Panama Canal. Lake Alajuela serves as a reservoir for the canal, which lies to the lake’s southwest.
