INTERESTING FACTS
During the past 4,000 years Mount St. Helens has erupted more frequently than any other volcano in the Cascade Range.
3,600 years ago the Native Americans abandoned hunting grounds devastated by an enormous eruption four times larger than the May 18, 1980 eruption.
Went 123 years until it erupted again.
