What the American Dream is for my generation is seemed to be completely derived from determination. To achieve anything in life that one would want, they would require to have a will-power and determination.
"...Maybe that's because they've seen stocks come roaring back and the housing market begin to recover.... But those who began their careers In the past five years were smart enough to sign up for a 401(k) have been building wealth steedily."(kadlec 2)
"72 percent of Americans in this nation wide survey said they believed it is possible to start poor in the United States, work hard and become rich- a classic form of the American Dream." (Seeley 1)
"This thing that they had never really believed in was coming true. George said reverently "Jesus Christ, I bet we could swing her." His eyes were full of wonder." (Steinbeck 30)
The idea of the American Dream has a lot different definitions but each of them seem to be derived from determination. Anything can be achieved if a person has the right amount of will power. The true definition of the American Dream is surrounded by determination
