THE FIGHTING GROUND

10:15

• Jonathan leaves his father to go to the liberty bell
• The inn keeper gives Jonathan a musket
• The regiment then left to rocktown

2:30

• The regiment hears the drummers as the British come
• The corporal tells his men to wait for the right time
• They wait in silence as the British came

2:43

• Everyone around Jonathan yells "hessians"
• Minutes later the corporal yells "now"
• Guns go off and smoke covers the air
• The hessians still move forward with their bayonets forward

3:50

• Jonathan is surrounded by hessians
• He jumps up and yells "don't shoot"
• The hessians yell but don't shoot, yet capture Jonathan

5:30

• Jonathan walks but slows down as he hears the sound of a cow
• He goes to the shed and finds a kid in it
• He didn't know what to do

10:30

• As Jonathan reached home smoke rose from the chimney
• He studied the doorway preparing himself to go in
• Turning, Jonathan walked the field, moving amidst the trees
• Then like a flame rekindled Jonathan saw the fear in his fathers eyes
• His father was so glad to see him alive!
