Introduction

• There are two different types of Artificial Intelligence. The first one is Narrow AI which is where we are now. The other one is General AI and that is where AI is expected to get to in the far future.

Narrow AI (ANI)

Narrow AI is the current stage of AI

What does it mean?

It can do one task, possibly better than a human.

But...

Only ONE SPECIFIC TASK that the machine specializes in.

General AI (AGI)

AGI is what AI is expected to achieve.

But it is still far away.

What does it mean?

For a machine to have General AI...

It must be able to pass the turing test.
