Music Video...

During the filming stage we used the camera Sony FS 100. A cheap camera with very good quality nearly reaching professional standards. This type of camera would be the one used by prosumers, those who make their own media products using high quality equipments that is cheap, but is not quite up to the professional standards.

As far as the playback device is concerned, we essentially connected an auxillary cable from the big studio speakers into an ipad which consisted of a pre-made video of the image seen in the background with a beep to indicate when the song was starting folloowed by a drum beat countdown of 4 beats and lastly the actual song we were recording to.

During the shoot we used some handheld lights that were lit red and illuminated the room flooding it with the bright red colour. The lights resembled a thin, long tube that was entirely glowing red. In order to achieve the ideal colour flooded room we were striving for we had to use about 4 or 5 different lights.

What the light looked like...

Website...

Firstly we used Wix whe making the website, a free website creator that allows anyone to pick a template and work around it in their own creative way. In our Wix website we decided to make it a scrolling one with no tabs that take you to different pages. All content is included in one page. We used a variety of technologies to improve it regarding content and design. Using soundcloud, we embeded the audio file of 'Without U' to our website by copying the embed link on Soundcloud and pasting it in the embed option on Wix. We also used Photoshop in order to create our own original designs of our website. We then exported a few video clips using adobe media encoder.

For our album artwork, we firstly needed to take the pictures of Joe. In order to do this we used our group member's camera, the Fujifilm XT100. We did not choose to use any artificial lighting as the daylight would represent our artist's star image being more organic rather than synthetic. In addition we used kodak film in the Pentax camera.
