Jake has to live in Taw's retirement home for a month while his dad goes to Brazil to help his friend Bill with a jaguar preserve.

Taw gives Jake the idea of stalking a deer that he sees out the window. Jake also gets a fax from his dad that tells Jake is going to Brazil with him for a week.
