Judaism:
Abraham was the founder of Judaism.

Judaism was founded over 3500 years ago.

Some of the known writings for Judaism is their law, halachah, the Tanach, the Mishnah, the Talmud, the Midrash.

Judaism believes in one God, and that every person was created in the image of God.

Judaism believes that Jesus did not fulfill messianic prophecies that establish the criteria for the coming of the messiah.

They believe that the Holy Spirit is never presented as a person but rather as a divine power capable of transforming the human being and the world.

They believe that we do not need a personal salvation.

They believe that death is not the end of human existence.

Christianity: Paul was the one who founded Christianity.

Christianity was founded in the 1st century C.E.

Some known writings for Christianity are the Didache, the Apocrypha, and the Gnostic scriptures.

Christianity believes that there is only one God, and that He is the father of Jesus.

Christianity believes that Jesus is the son of God and that He died for our sins.

They believe that the Holy Spirit is the third Person of the triune of God.

They believe that salvation was made possible by the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ.

They believe that when you die, you leave your body and go to heaven.

The founder of Islam was Muhammad.

Islam was founded in the 7th century.

Some known writings for Islam are Qur'an, and Hadith.

Islam believes that God is all-powerful, all-knowing, and all-present.

They believe that Jesus is one of the greatest of God's messengers to mankind.

They don't believe that the Holy Spirit is divine.

They believe that the purpose of life is to live in a way that is pleasing to Allah so that one may gain Paradise.

They believe that death is a natural threshold to the next stage of existence.

The founder of Buddhism was Buddha Shakyamuni.

Buddhism was founded in the late 6th century.

Hinduism has no known founder.

Some known writings for Buddhism are Tripitaka, Mahayana Sutras, Tibetan Book of the Dead.

Buddhism does not believe in God.

Buddhism does not believe that Jesus is God's son.

Buddhism does not believe in a supreme creator being.

They do not believe in a Divine being, therefore they have no concept of salvation and atonement for wrong doings.

They believe that after death one is either reborn into another body or enters nirvana.

Hinduism was founded in 1500 BC in India.

Some known writings for Hinduism are Vedas, Upanishads, Sutras, Bhagavad Gita.

Hinduism believes there is one true God called Brahman.

They talk about Jesus but don't call the day he was crucified.

Hinduism does not believe in the conversion of people.

For salvation in Hinduism, each person is required to do certain things.

Hinduism believes that a person's spirit is permanent and cannot change.

The founder of Sikhism was Guru Nanak.

Sikhism was founded in the 15th century CE in India.

One of the known writings for Sikhism is the Guru Granth Sahib.

Sikhism teaches the existence of one God, Ik Onkar.

Sikhisms does not believe that Jesus is God.

Sikhism does not believe in trinity.

Sikhs believe that salvation can be attained by anyone who meditates on God.

Sikhs believe that death is not the end.

The founder of Taoism is believed to be Lao-Tse.

Taoism was founded in the 3rd or 4th centuries in China.

Some known writings for Taoism are The Tao-te Ching, Chuang-tzu.

There is no founder for Shinto

Taoism does not believe in a certain God, they believe that there is a "Tao" or "dao"

They believe that Jesus is a Taoist

Taoism does not believe in eternal redemption. They think it means living in harmony with nature and the cosmos as they participate in the earth's endless cycle of destruction and creation.

Taoism believes that the soul survives after death and has the ability to travel through space.

Shinto was founded in the 6th century C.E in Japan.

There are no sacred writings and no formalized system of doctrine in Shinto.

The founder of Confucianism was Kong Qiu.

Some sacred writings for Confucianism are "The Confucian Canon and English," "Confucian Analects," and "Mencius."

Confucianism believes in a God named Confucius.

Confucianism respects Jesus as a holy man of Christianity.

Confucianism regards both life and death as a responsibility to society.
