This was the United States first daytime robbery during peace time.
This was Jesse James' first criminal act.
He divided the money into the families where he lived.
He is thought of as a country Robin Hood.

He was sought after multiple times by the police.
He did not hold-up anymore banks after moving Kansas City, MO.
Even though he robbed many more before that not all banks.
Some were trains, and stagecoaches.

The man who shot him was Robert Ford.
Jesse James was shot in his own home.
Robert Ford was his cousin.
