PRESENTATION OUTLINE

PRESSURE

ANDRES,ALEX AND PATY

When you inhale, a muscle increases the space in you chest and gives your lungs room to expand.

The expansion decreases the pressure in your lungs. The pressure in your lungs becomes lower than the air pressure outside your lungs.

When you exhale,a muscle in your chest moves up-ward and decreases the space in your chest.

Exhaled air carries carbon dioxide out of the lungs.

The decrease in space causes the pressure in your lungs to increase.

The air in your lungs flows from a region of high pressure(your chest) to a region of low pressure(the outside of your body).
