FEAST DAY

MAY 13

SHE IS THE PATRON SAINT OF

FIRST COMMUNICANTS

EARLY LIFE

Imelda was born in Bologna in 1322. She was very faithful because she went to live with the Dominican nuns at age nine. She was raised into a family of Catholic faith, by going to mass. Lastly, she recieved Communion at age nine

My saint is blessed because she was seen to have the host over her head at a mass one day, and Jesus was saying for her to have the Holy Communion. She also was a very faithful person.

My saint is known for having a shining light over her head (the host) to receive her first communion. She is also known for being the patron saint of first communicants. Next, she is remembered for her devotion to Ford at such a young age. At nine years old, then and now, that was a very young age to become a nun and live with them, and that is what she is known for

I like Imelda because she shows, no matter how young you are, you can worship God.

Some similarities we share is that we both love God at a young age, and we both believe in God the Father. Some differences include having the host above my head or going to live with nuns at age nine or receiving the Holy Communion at age nine.
