Choosing Your Movie

The scoop on picking a movie.

You choice must be approved over email by your instructor. You cannot choose a movie until Week 4.

There is no need for anxiety.

You will pick your movie during Week Four.

There are a little over 40 students.

There are a little over 80 pieces of media to choose from.

The criteria.

Criteria

• A piece of media I know well enough to grade it from memory
• Showcases a hero's journey
• About a hero with a biological or legal family that plays a part in the movie
• No web pages on the media AND the hero's journey

You can propose something else, but there is a 95% it will not work.

You should ONLY do a TV show off the list if you are a devoted fan of that TV show, having seen every episode more than once.

If you choose a TV character from the list, you will identify the journey yourself.

Doing a TV show will be more difficult, will require more emails with instructor.
