• They are required to pray in a clean location

ZAKAT

• Purification of wealth
• 2.5% of Surplus money is donated
• Pays for different Charities
• There are Zakat boxes or direct donations
• Can be used to pay off others debt

SAWM

• Muslims don’t eat during daylight hours
• Muslims do their normal routines
• There is a meal before dawn and after sunset
• Only people who are able are required to fast
• Muslims are supposed to be kind and compassionate towards others

• Muslims throw stones at a pole representing Satan
• Muslims sacrifice an animal
• Both genders change clothing
• They run between two hills
