Rebecca Towne Nurse
Rebecca was born in Great Yarmouth,England.
Rebecca Nurse had three sisters & three brothers.
She was the wife of Francis Nurse.

Rebecca Nurse lived in The Salem Village.
Townspeople:Elizabeth & John Proctor,Tituba, & Giles Corey.
The warrant was issued for her arrest on March 23,1692.
Her trail began on June 30th,1692.
Nurse and her family lived on a vast homestead.

CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT
Nurse was a very we'll respected member of the community.
Her husband was a "tray maker" by trade.
Francis originally rented out there home & gradually paid it off.
The Nurse family had been involved in a number of land disputes with the Putnam family.

Nurse frequently attended church, which made her family very well respected.
Nurse continues to show strength even though death was involved.

THE TRIAL
It is said that she was accused by the Putnams
At the end of her trial in June 1692, she was found not guilty
The children that were at the trial threw a fit and made the court reconsider
The court found her guilty and sentenced her to be executed on July 19,1692

FINAL THOUGHTS
Nurse was accused because people were lying to save themselves.
I don't think it was a fair trial because she was not involved in witchcraft.
