NOT A TRAGEDY
Hamlet waited until the end of the play to try to kill his uncle.
Fortinbras spent the entire play avenging his fathers death.
Hamlet was worried about getting in trouble than the task he was given.
Fortinbras wasn't clearly worried about the possible trouble for him.

TRAGEDY
Hamlet lost his father.
His dead father told him that he was murdered.
Hamlet had to act crazy so people around him wouldn't know about his task.
Every time he was close to killing his uncle something stopped him.
He finally kills his uncle after his mother, girlfriend are dead, and he is dying.
