Prediction:
We predict that the mass of the book depends on the area.
Research Question:
What is the relationship between a books mass and its area?
Independent variable- mass
Dependent variable- area
Procedure:
- Get multiple books from same series (all hardcover, same font and font size).
- Measure to find area.
- Weigh to find mass.
- Find the relationship.
- Record and graph data.
OUR GRAPH AND EQUATION: Y=0X+46.75
Conclusion:
We found that the relationship between the area and the mass of the four books doesn't have as much change as we expected.
