  • They lived next to the Huang He river which would whenever it flooded leave behind silt for great farming

WHAT DID THE SOCIAL HIERARCHY LOOK LIKE IN FEUDAL CHINA

  • The Gentry were at the top they were wealthy nobles
  • The Scholars were under the Gentry they worked in education centers learning new things for China
  • The Farmers were below the Scholars they worked on farms and made crops
  • The Merchants were at the bottom they were shop owners they were below Farmers because they didn't make thins by hand
