- The Himalayas and Gobi desert blocked invaders
- China touched the Yellow sea, the East China sea, and the South China sea which made for great trading
- They lived next to the Huang He river which would whenever it flooded leave behind silt for great farming

WHAT DID THE SOCIAL HIERARCHY LOOK LIKE IN FEUDAL CHINA
- The Gentry were at the top they were wealthy nobles
- The Scholars were under the Gentry they worked in education centers learning new things for China
- The Farmers were below the Scholars they worked on farms and made crops
- The Merchants were at the bottom they were shop owners they were below Farmers because they didn't make thins by hand
