U.S.

  • Agriculture was a crucial part of our economy
  • Farmers in the U.S. at an early stage was seen as a hard worker
  • Early during the creation of the U.S. farming boosted the economy by a lot
  • Even people who were not farmers sold their land to farmers and agriculture purposes

EUROPE

  • During the Roman Empire, agriculture was farmed by 4 methods
  • Slave doing the work, Families doing work, share cropping, and leased to a tenant
  • Many parts of Europe had different farming goods, like olive oil, wine,
  • This was depending in the soil type
  • The 4 methods brought a lot of farming goods to Europe and methods was passed down to generations

ASIA

  • Agriculture in Asia is mostly about farming rice
  • During the summers rice would be grown in fields with shallow water
  • Asia has a lot of warm weathers during the summer, so rice would be plenty full
  • Cash crops in Asia would be rice , wheat, cinnamon , and poppies

AFRICA

  • Some parts of Africa are already too hot for many crops
  • Crops in those areas are being reduced in productivity
  • Farming in Africa does not have much technology to help them

SOUTH AMERICA

  • Only 1/8 of South America's land are permanent for farming
  • Farming in this continent is less productive than growing live stock
  • Farming in South America was less common in the old days of this continent

AUSTRALIA

  • Farming has influenced Australia to where they have around 135,00 farms
  • Farming produces 150 billion dollars a year
  • A narrow zone produces dairy products, wheat-sheep zone produces winter crops
  • Grazing for sheep zone are for lambs, wool, and muttons
