God told Moses to free his people
The Israelites were slaved because the pharaoh was fearful of the Israelites
Because Pharaoh refused, God punished Egypt with ten terrible Plagues.
The Pharaoh chased after them until they caught up with them at the Red Sea
Moses raised his staff and the waters of the sea parted.

THE EXODUS FROM EGYPT
When the egyptians tried to follow, the waters flooded.
After the Israelites left, They wandered for 40 years .
These 40 years, God gave Moses the Ten Commandments.
These Ten Commandments became the foundation of Judaism.
4.
THE TEN COMMANDMENTS
By obeying God's commandments, Jewish people
would fulfill their part of the covenant with him.
Jewish people's responsibility was to make God's
moral teachings known to the world.
In return, God would protect them.
5.
CONTRIBUTIONS TO JUDAISM
He led the exodus out of Egypt. This proved to the Jews that God watched over them.
Moses gave Judaism some of its most fundamental laws and teachings, which was called the Ten Commandments.
Moses Forged the Israelites into a united Jewish people devoted to one god.
