FUNCTIONS OF POLICE/SHERIFS

• The police primarily are responsible for the maintenance of public order
• prevention and detection of crimes in the state
• protect the lives
• without police society would be a chaos

FUNCTION OF POLICE/SHERIFFS

• dispersing any unlawwful assembly
• arresting the person who has committed cognizable offenses
• preventing the commission of offenses and public nuisance

Providing gods and services- I believe are tax dollars are sometimes not being well spent on our police, sheriffs, highway patrol. I see many over weight officers throughout Jefferson county and sometimes in different states when I go on vacation. I think we the state and government should have to force physical training that way all officers are well conditioned and they should go through this training every so often.
